OK, I know that personality cults can be dangerous, I know he's not a god. But for just one second, can we just..

Yes, cults of personality are dangerous. And, yeah, some have gone a bit overboard when it comes to Obama. (I live in Harlem. Walking around my neighborhood, it's easy to think he's Christ himself.) But I think his election is a cause for celebration. And to have a leader who inspires trust, admiration and hope for the future is a welcome change for us Americans. Why not bask in it for a while.

I'm enjoying being stoked to be an American.
