that's probably what he's referencing, but I can't help you with the gross Americans part. Except that, in general, we *are* kinda gross.
:) His English is typically not quite so broken, and the message has a frenetic quality, like he's multitasking. I love the strange urgency of the opening.. "Dear!"
Hi Claire, I wanted to post a comment on Jan 9, 2009 but feared you would not notice I commented. I wanted to let you know that I've read quite a bit of your blog and I've been rather enthralled by it. You write so well... I think we have quite a few things in common in such things that pertain to our interests and hobbies. Our worldviews on the other hand are not so similar. That is ok as we all understand the world differently. But, if it doesn't weird you out by me asking... (I might be weirded out if a random stranger asked me this, but I really hope I don't come across as being one of those stalkers out to get people or just has nothing better to do with their lives than read about others) I would really enjoy writing letters with you... would you be at all interested? I'd appreciate if you could just tell me no if you're not so I don't have to wonder if you are ignoring me or just didn't get the comment. :) Anyway, you can find my email on my profle. Ok, sweet! I think if you right click the 'email me' button on my profile you can copy and paste my email address. I'm not sure if blogger will let me post it in a comment but I will try at the bottom. Otherwise, if you hover over the 'email me' button in firefox it should show my email at the bottom left of the brower.
